ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test - IBSAT
ICFAI University Group announces IBSAT exam dates for MBA Program, Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM), MBA in Financial Economics and MBA in Family Business; and it is to be held on December 24, 2011 from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
IBSAT is an aptitude test for students seeking admission into the Management programs by the ICFAI. The exam consists of multiple choice questions and is for two hours. The exam is aimed to test the candidate's ability in quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning and reading comprehension.
Applicants interested in appearing for IBSAT can apply either by post or by e-mail. Candidates are required to fill up the OMR Application Form enclosed and send it to the Admissions Officer, IBSAT office. Candidates applying online are required to fill the Application Form available at www.ibsat.org and make a payment of Rs. 1,200 towards the cost using Credit/Debit Card (Visa/MasterCard/Citibank Card) through secure internet payment gateway. The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants. Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form from www.ibsat.org, complete it and send it to the Admissions Officer along with the demand draft of Rs. 1,200 towards the cost (DD in favor of "IUCF A/c IBS" payable at Hyderabad). The IBSAT Application Material will be sent to such applicants.
The last date for receipt of completed OMR Application Form is December 08, 2011. It is obligatory for all the candidates to specify their e-mail ID, as all significant information relating to IBSAT will be intimated to the applicants by e-mail. Applicants are also required to send their letters/correspondence by e-mail only to: info@ibsat.org clearly indicating their names and Application Number of IBSAT. The online admit cards can be downloaded from the official website using the application number and date of birth as their user name and password respectively from November 15, 2011 and no hard copies of the admit cards will be mailed.
The eligibility criteria to appear for IBSAT are:
a. Graduates (any discipline) in English medium with 50% and above aggregate marks.
b. Final year students awaiting results can also apply.
The results of the IBSAT 2011 will be hosted online on www.ibsat.org around January 23, 2012. The details of the score (in terms of percentiles) obtained in the test will be intimated to all applicants.
